Stop, Look and Listen....

Movement Prep: 20 mins

Inverted Rows: 3x10/12/15
Elevated Push-ups: 3x10/12/15
Leg Thrust: 2x20
Dead Clean: 3x8/side
Press: 3x5/side
Snatch to Press: 3x5/repeat 3 times per side 3 rounds
One Legged Hesitation Push-ups: 6x3/side
Inverted Rows: 6x6

Movement Prep: 10 mins

I can still see their faces....everyone of them...looking back at me...calling my name, holding out their hands...wanting me to join them...I will my friends/mentors/loved ones...but not yet....not yet

there is nothing to relate....seeing darkness on the other side...twice no less...all out of the reach of the arms of those who care...just like my birth it will be with my thoughts and no one else....just my thoughts....

hope is fading fast and all I can do is watch as those who wish for change or for peace die while the rest of the world places their bets... 
 
I don't smile because their are task left undone...a shortage of liberty and freedom with a surplus of greed and corruption...
 
I run because I know my brothers are not resting...they are fighting for me....for me to run harder...
 
I push harder because the more I want to let them in...the farther apart they are from my heart...
...with too many faults to count...I just want to no longer let them down...

in these games I play...over and over in my head....the conversations I know I will never have with those who I will never meet again...it's a race I know I can not win....yet I will fight anyway...knowing the battle will consume me...one day or another....
